REV. C. BLAINE GUNERSON
OSAGE, IOWA - services for a former pastor, the Rev. C. Blaine Gunderson, 58, who died at Kent Washington, will be Thursday they are with burial in La Crosse, Washington.
He was pastor of Rock Creek Lutheran Church from 1941 until 1945.
Survivors are his widow Audrey; two daughters, Mrs. Jack Baker and Mrs. Albert Schaeffer both of Burlington, Iowa; and a son, David, of Kent, Washington; and five grandchildren.

WORD HAS BEEN received that Rev. C. B. Gunderson died on November 11 from a sudden heart attack. Rev. Gunderson was pastor of the Wallingford Lutheran and Immanuel Lutheran, South of Gruver, churches from 1945-1956.

Gunderson Accepts Call to
Congregation Near Osage
Will be Installed
as Pastor at Rock
Creek Church Sunday
GARNER - the Rev. C. B. Gunderson, who has served the Miller and Ellington Prairie parishes for the past five years, has accepted a call to the Rock Creek congregation in Osage.
The Rev. Mr. Gunderson, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gunderson, formerly of Twin Lake Township, who moved to Northfield Minnesota, 13 years ago, came to the Miller and Ellington Prairie parishes in July 1936, shortly after completing his course at the Lutheran Theological Seminary at St. Paul. The Miller church recently celebrated its 20th anniversary.
The Rev. Mr. Gunderson will be installed as pastor at Rock Creek on Sunday. The Rock Creek Church has a membership of 600 parishioners.
