QUAM, John O. c1821-1890

Mr. John O. Quam died Thursday morning after an illness of about two years from cancer in the throat. The disease originated in his lip and has gradually worked downward. He has been a great sufferer and death was no doubt a relief.

Deceased was sixty nine years of age and leaves a widow and several grown up children to mourn his departure. The funeral services were held Saturday and were largely attended.

We are requested to return sincere thanks to all who assisted him in his illness and took a part in the last sad rites, in behalf of his widow and children.
