Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Miller Funeral Home for C. Arthur "Art" Peterson, 77, of 2013 S. Faris Ave., who died Monday morning in a Sioux Falls hospital.
A second service will be held Thursday afternoon at the Schroeder-Houg Funeral Home in Saint Ansgar, Iowa.
Mr. Peterson was born March 30, 1894, in Bayonne, N.J. He married Matie Robertson on February 24, 1926 at St. Ansgar. The couple lived at Osage and Kensett, Iowa, and Tucson, Ariz., before moving to Sioux Falls in 1953. Mr. Peterson was the owner and manager of the De Luxe Motel until retiring three weeks ago. He was a World War I veteran.
Survivors include the widow, and two sisters, Selma Barger, Snyder, N.Y., and Esther Selling, Los Angeles, Calif., nephew, Harry Selling of Los Angeles, and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Charles Arthur Peterson, 78, who died Monday, June 12, 1972, at the Veterans Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, were held at the miller Funeral Home in Sioux Falls Wednesday evening, June 14 and will be held Thursday, June 15 at 2:30 p.m. at the Schroeder & Houg Funeral Home here with the Reverend Don Comnick officiating.
Burial will be in the First Lutheran Cemetery.
