MEINERT, STAMMEYER, SCHMITT

ALBERT MEINERT
STACYVILLE, IOWA - Funeral services for Albert Meinert, 60, have been set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Visitation Catholic Church. Burial will be in the local cemetery with military rites at the graveside.
Meinert died Saturday at Veterans Hospital, Des Moines. He was taken there Friday night from the Soldiers Home at Marshalltown, where he had lived for three years. He had received a medical discharge during World War II.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Matt (Anna) Stammeyer and Miss Josephine Meinert, both of Stacyville, and Mrs. Louis (Mary) Schmitt, St. Lucas, and two brothers, Joseph, St. Lucas, and Edward, Gilbertville.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
The Rosary will be said at 8 a.m. Tuesday at the Hattman Funeral Home.
