KATHERINE DALZIEL

Osage – Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine Dalziel, 87, will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Champion Funeral Home. The Rev. Norman Brooks of the First Congregational Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

Born in Osage, she was the daughter of Thomas and Lousie Champion. She taught school here until her marriage to Roy Dalziel. They lived in Osage and Minot, North Dakota, before going to Spokane, Washington. She died at her home there.

Surviving are three sons; Ralph; Charles; and Fred; all of Washington; a brother; Harold Champion, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Katherine Pearl Champion was born September 10, 1875 in Osage, Mitchell, Iowa, the daughter of Thomas and Louise (Thomas) Champion. She married Roy William Dalziel. He was born December 31, 1872 in Iowa , the son of William and Lydia Dalziel; and he died September 6, 1951 in Spokane, Washington.
