HUGH DELANEY
Osage – Hugh DeLaney, 66, died Wednesday of emphysema at a Rochester, Minnesota hospital.
Born August 31, 1896, he was married in 1920 to Hila West. They farmed northwest of Osage on the homestead of his grandparents.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter; Mrs. Dale (Mary Ellen) Groff, Mason City; five grandchildren; a brother; James DeLaney, Los Angeles; a sister; Mrs. Leslie (Katherine) Mahone, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at the Champion Funeral Home.
