Funeral services for M. Esther Decker, 86, a former Osage resident, were held on Saturday, August 9, 1986 at Champion Funeral Home in Osage.
Mrs. Decker died on Saturday, August 2, 1986 at an Austin, Minnesota nursing home. Rev. M. Garrison of the First United Methodist Church officiated and burial was in the Osage Cemetery.
Mrs. Decker was born on May 4, 1900 in Gilman, to James and Mae (Andrews) Corrigan. At the age of ten she moved with her parents to Lyle, Minnesota, where she attended school.
She married Morse Decker on July 16, 1919 at the Union Presbyterian Church in Mitchell County. They farmed in Union Township until 1941 when they moved to a farm near McIntire. They lived there until 1962 when they retired and moved to Osage. They moved to Austin, Minnesota in 1975.
Mrs. Decker is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Janean) Cunderla of Rochester, Minnesota; three grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Amy Cashman of San Diego, California.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1980; three infant children; three brothers; and two sisters.
