Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 1, 1986 for Alice M. Anderson, 77, of St. Ansgar, at Deer Creek Lutheran Church in Carpenter. Rev. E. Franke officiated and burial was in the church cemetery. She died on Friday, June 27, 1986, at her residence.

She was born on November 24, 1908 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Herman and Julia (Schudar) Anderson. She was a retired postmistress of Carpenter.

Survivors include one son, Richard Anderson of Brighton, Michigan; two sisters, Vernice Martinson of San Francisco, Calif. and Agnes Hanna of St. Ansgar; one brother, Verne Anderson of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; and three grandchildren.
