Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 17, 1986 at the First Congregational Church in Riceville for Oliver White, 94, of Riceville. The Reverends Dale and Rita Coakley and Rev. John Gilbert officiated, and burial was in the Riverside Cemetery in Riceville.

He died on Thursday, May 15, 1986 at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage.

Mr. White was a retired Riceville area farmer.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Marn of Riceville; a son, Robert of New Hampton; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
