Julia Ann (Spooner) Holden – May 12, 1872 – November 9, 1962

JULIA A HOLDEN DIES AT 90; RITES MONDAY

Riceville – Julia Ann Holden, 94, died Friday at her home here. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church here. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery with Chisholm Funeral Home in charge.

Born in Grinnell, May 12, 1872, she was the daughter of Luke and Nettie Spooner.

Surviving are a son, Glenn, Riceville; two daughters; Mrs. Loras (Grace) Curtis, San Francisco; Mrs. Ward (Winifred) Kephart, Costa Mesa, California; several grandchildren and a brother; L.W. Spooner, Grinnell.
