Funeral services were held Friday, January 23, 1987 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Riceville, for Mrs. Louise Lubbert, 93, of Riceville, Iowa. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery, Riceville. Mrs. Lubbert died Monday, January 19, 1987 at the Stacyville nursing home.
Mrs. Lubbert was a farm wife and homemaker in the Riceville area. She worked for 20 years as a hospital aide.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lois Buhr and Marguerite Lubbert, both of Elgin, Minnesota, and Mrs. Hilda Myers of Riceville; one son, Donald of Puyallup, Washington; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-granchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Frieda Utesch and Ruth Funte both of Riceville and Mrs. Alwina Ball of Wilton; and one brother, Fred Utesch of Osage.
