RICEVILLE, IOWA - Adeline Lubbert, 86, of Riceville, died on Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville with Rev. Tom Wegener officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday, Dec. 2, from 4-7 p.m. and one hour before services at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville.

Adeline Wallace Lubbert was born October 4, 1925 at Osage, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Gladys (Jester) Wallace. She was united in marriage to Bernard Lubbert on November 13, 1943. Marlys Lubbert Bartels and Wayne Lubbert were born to this union. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith.
She and her husband farmed near Riceville and owned a food drive-in for nine years. Adeline enjoyed 20 years of school bus driving and many years of video camera work. Her favorite pastime was doing good for other people.
She is survived by her husband, her daughter Marlys and her husband Fred Bartels, her son Wayne and his wife Betty, six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson Trent, four brothers: Francis, Leo, Milo and Melbourne; and a nephew James.
Visitation:
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2011 at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville, Iowa, as well as one hour prior to services also at the funeral home.
Service:
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville, Iowa.
Cemetery:
Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Riceville, Iowa.
