CRITICALLY ILL
Riceville, Ia. – Mrs. Walter Lonie is critically ill at St. Mary’s Hospital at Rochester, Minnesota, following a stroke of paralysis.
She was visiting at the home of her sister, Miss Edna Wentworth, in Riceville when she was stricken.
Her sister heard a commotion and upon investigation found her at the foot of the basement stairs where it is assumed she fell after she became ill.
Mrs. Lonie lives at her home farm eight miles north of Riceville that is operated by her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Klaes.

INJURED IN FALL
Riceville – Mrs. Winnie Lonie is in the hospital at Rochester, Minnesota, suffering from concussion of the brain.
Mrs. Lonie was visiting her sister, Edna Wentworth, when she fell down the cellar stairs causing the injury.
The accident occurred Friday and Mrs. Lonie has not regained consciousness.
