John** Chamberlain Benjamin McIntire was born on December 26, 1874 in Iowa. He was the son of John McIntire and Sarah (Eastman) McIntire. He died in 1947 and is buried in Wayne Township Cemetery, McIntire, Mitchell county, Iowa, along with his wife and two children.
He married Charlotte (Tomlinson) McIntire.
Their children:
John B. McIntire 1897-1900
Velva McIntire 1899-1978

**Name is from World War I Draft Registration.
He is found as Ben/Benjamin /JCB/John Benjamin in census records.
Charlotte (Tomlinson) McIntire, his wife, was born on September 1872 in Wisconson, parents Jonas Tomlinson and Margaret (Flynn) Tomlinson (from 1925 Iowa Census).
