Funeral Services for Mrs. Hattie Paul were held Friday, October 27, 1967, at 1 p.m. at the Wilcox Funeral Home in Rockford, Iowa. She passed away Wednesday, October 25, 1967. The Reverend Stephen Engelstad of Zion Lutheran Church officiated at the services.

Mrs. Hattie Paul was born February 23, 1880 at Carpenter, Iowa. The last seven years she had lived in Rockford.

She was united in marriage to John W. Paul in 1905.

She leaves to mourn, her only daughter, Mrs. Helen Burns, four grandchildren, 11 great Grandchildren, two nieces and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one sister, and one grandson.

She became seriously ill on October 10 and entered the Floyd County memorial Hospital at Charles City, She was transferred back to the Rockford Convalescent home for about a week and was again entered in to the hospital at Charles City on October 21.

Pallbearers included Cornelius Klink, Clarence Graper, Al Kietch, Joney Laudner, Wesley Trettin, and William Wucher.

Interment was at Wayne Cemetery in McIntire. She will be greatly missed by her friends in McIntire and Rockford.
