Louisa Helfritz died last Wednesday evening after an illness of about one year, from consumption, aged 21 years, 11 months and 1 day. During her long and painful illness she bore her sufferings with great fortitude and often expressed the hope that her condition would soon change to the better or worse.
Miss Helfritz was a lady of fine talents and was a particular favorite among her many lady acquaintances. Four years ago she was confirmed in the Norwegian Lutheran Church, of which she continued a faithful member until her death.
The funeral services were held Friday afternoon, and were very largely attended. Rev. J. L. Zerlinger, of Rock Creek, delivered the discourse which was followed by a few remarks by. Rev. Olsen. The remains were laid away in the village cemetery by the side of those of her father who died about six years ago.
