Pneumonia Fatal to Otto Helfritz - Employee of Hoval A. Smith Dies in Copper Queen Hospital
Otto Helfritz, aged forty-six years, died at the Copper Queen hospital yesterday morning at ten o'clock, following a short illness of pneumonia. He was taken to the hospital only several days ago. He had no relatives in Arizona so far as known, and the body will be sent to St. Ansgar, Iowa for interment. A brother, Rudolph Helfritz, lives at that place, and is said to be wealthy, being the owner of a large roller mill.
Helfritz had been in Arizona for about five years and was employed at the office of Hoval A. Smith, in Bakerville. His acquaintance with Hoval Smith is said to have begun back in St. Ansgar, Iowa, where both were born and reared. After Smith came to Arizona and attained affluence, he gave employment to the friend of his youth.
