Arthur Odvin Olson – February 11, 1903 – August 13, 1997

Arthur O. Olson, 94, of Osage, died Wednesday, August 13, 1997, at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Our Savior's Lutheran
Church, with the Rev. Dennis Hanson and the Rev. Roy Ott, officiating.
Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.
Arthur O. Olson was born Feb. 11, 1903, at Leland, Iowa. Art owned and operated Art's Shoe Store in Osage for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor, of Osage; and one sister, Mabel Sawyer, of Osage.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, one daughter and three brothers.
The Champion Funeral Home, Osage, is in charge of arrangements.

Arthur Odvin Olson was born February 11, 1903, the son of Carl and Inga (Thorson) Olson. He married Ruth Solberg, the daughter of Sever and Anna (Munson) Solberg. Ruth died March 25, 1961. Their daughter, Phyllis (Olson) Hauge died May 7, 1975.
After the death of his first wife he married Eleanor Marie (Pettitt) Sheumaker. She died in 2004.
