Funeral services for Mrs. Delia Wilson, 93, and formerly of Rudd, Iowa, were held on Tuesday, February 25 at Champion Funeral Home in Osage. Rev. J. Bate of Eden Presbyterian Church officiated and burial was in Eden Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Rudd. Mrs. Wilson died on Saturday, February 22, 1986, at the Nora Springs Care Center.

Mrs. Wilson was born on December 7, 1892 in Floyd County, Iowa, to J. Fred and Anna (Lohr) Brandau. She was educated in Rudd schools and was confirmed at Eden Presbyterian Church, rural Rudd.

On September 12, 1940 she married Lon Wilson at Marble Rock where they lived until he died in 1955. Mrs. Wilson later moved to Rudd, then to the Starr Home in Charles City and then to the Nora Springs Care Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lon; her parents; two sisters, Anna and Nettie Brandau; one brother, Peter Brandau.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Mrs. Fred (Etta) Ludwig of Mesa, Arizona, and several step grandchildren and cousins.
