DIED SEPTEMBER 5TH
FOLLOWING OPERATION
Emily Elizabeth Skelton was born November 9, 1849 in Monroe county, Iowa. When about two years old she moved with her parents to Montgomery county, Indiana. Later they moved to Warren county, Indiana, and on September 8, 1866 she was united in marriage to Aaron Hoel, of that place.
They moved to Illinois, where they resided until February 1876, when they moved to Rudd, Iowa. To this union were born eleven children, seven of whom are still living, Lucy, Amy George and William having preceded her in death.
She leaves beside her husband, Edwin of Osage; John of Devonia; Frank of Orchard; Arthur of Orchard. . . .
