Oliver C. Olson (better known as Ole Olson to his family and friends), was born August 28, 1896 in St. Ansgar. He was baptized in the First Lutheran church September 13, 1896 and confirmed May 12, 1912.

Never having married, he made his home with his brother and family, and spent many happy hours sharing his love of literature with the children. In later years he became an avid baseball fan and delighted in any opportunity to discuss his favorite teams.

Mr. Olson was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Palmer and Irvin. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Mrs. Palmer (Viola) Olson; his niece, Audrey (Olson) Schulz, her husband, Galen of St. Ansgar and their children, Timothy, Stephanie and Mark; a niece, Kathryn (Olson) McHenry, her husband, Lawrence and children, Scott, Rebekah, Spencer, Bennett and Holly.
