Funeral services for Dale Edward Olson, 23, St. Ansgar, who died Sunday, July 23, 1989, are being held today at 2 p.m. July 27 at the First Lutheran church here with the Rev. Thomas Hughes officiating.

Dale was born April 8, 1966 in Osage to George and Shirley Martin Olson. He attended St. Ansgar schools and also appliance repair school for nine months. He was employed at Fieldstone Cabinetry in Northwood for the past 14 months. He enjoyed fixing appliances and fixing up cars. Dale died Sunday in Mitchell County as the result of an automobile accident.

He is survived by his parents, Geroge and Shirley of St. Ansgar; two brothers, Craig of El Paso, Tex. and Allen of Osage; one sister, Mrs. Dwayne (Karen) Weil, El Paso, Tex.; grandmothers, Edna Olson of St. Ansgar and Minnie Martin of Clarion; five nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers.

Burial is to be at First Lutheran cemetery.
