OSAGE, IOWA - Services for William H. Kenny, 76, who died Sunday afternoon at Mitchel County Memorial Hospital will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage; rosary at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Champion Funeral Home; burial in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Ella; two sons, Bill Jr., of Osage, and Patrick H. of Winchester, Indiana; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Parr of Joliet, Illinois, and Mrs. Ralph Fox Jr., of
Waterloo; and a sister, Mrs. Ray Farrell of Lawler.

Illness fatal to W. Kenny

Funeral services for William H. Kenny, 76, of rural Osage were held Wednesday morning. Mr. Kenny had been ill over a long period and died August 27, at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital.

The Rev. Justin A. Kane, church pastor, was in charge of the rites at Sacred Heart Catholic church and burial was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were by C.R. Champion and Sons.

William Henry Kenny was born in Cresco March 29, 1898, the son of Edward and Ann Smith Kenny. As a child he moved to Lawler with his family and completed his education there.

Ella McCabe and Mr. Kenny were united in marriage in Lennox, South Dakota, February 13, 1923. They came to Osage in 1943 and he was employed by the Oliver Corporation in Charles City until his retirement. He was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife Ella; two sons, William Jr. of Osage and Patrick of Winchester, Indiana; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Fox (Helen) of Waterloo, and Mrs. Kenneth Parr (Phyllis) of Joliet, Illinois; 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ray Farrell (Bernadette) of Lawler; nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother Roy Kenny.

William "Keef" Kenny was the son of Edward and Anna Bridget (Smith) Kenny; husband of Ella Bridget (McCabe) Kenny, and the father of; William, Phyllis, Helen, and Patrick.
