Irma Jean (Kruger) Hockens
Sept. 1, 1937 - May 3, 1970
Funeral services were conducted in St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Riceville on Tuesday, May 5, 1970, for Mrs. Irma Jean Hockens, 32 who passed away on May 3, 1970 at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage. The Rev. Bertrand Hinrichs officiated at the services.
Irma Jean was born on September 1, 1937 in Riceville, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Kruger.
She is survived by her husband, Larry, McIntire, Iowa; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Kruger, Riceville; two sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Darlene) Kephart, Riceville and Mrs. Robert (Shirley) DeVries, Floyd, Iowa; one brother, Master Sgt. Donald Kruger, Shepard Air Force Base, Texas; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Jennie Kruger, Riceville, and several nieces, nephews and aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Julius Kruger in 1963.
Burial was in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery of Riceville with the Chisholm Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
