Funeral services were held on Monday, Janaury 12, 1987 at Champion Funeral Home in Osage, for Natalie Heller, 83, of Osage.
She died on Thursday, January 8, 1987 at the Osage hospital. Rev. J. Newland of First Baptist Church of Osage officiated, and burial was in the Orchard Cemetery, Orchard, Iowa.
Mrs. Heller was born on July 27, 1903 in Floyd county, Iowa, to Robert and Mary (Sweet) Newton. She attended rural schools in Floyd County and Floyd High School.
On Sept. 1, 1923, she married L. Verl Heller in Charles City. They farmed east of Orchard. After Mr. Heller died in 1977, she continued living on the farm, moving to Osage in 1979.
Mrs. Heller was a charter member of Cedar Side Birthday Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. John (Betty) Bauman of Osage; two sons, Kenneth of Little Cedar and Robert of rural Charles City; and 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a grandchild.
