Glenn Franklin Laughlin

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 25, 1982 for Glenn Laughlin at the Champion Funeral Home with Reverend David Presher officiating. Burial was in the Osage Cemetery. Military rites at the grave were conducted by VFW Post 7930 of Osage.

Glenn Franklin Laughlin was born February 25, 1930 in Osage, the son of Clarence and Margaret Laughlin. He attended schools in Osage. He entered the Air Force in 1947 and served 14½ years, attaining the rank of Tech Sergeant. He served in Germany during the Berlin Airlift. He also served in the Korean War. Later he was a Radar Communications Officer in Labrador, and many other locations.

He is survived by a daughter Glenda, two sons Scott and Steve all of Laredo, California; four sisters, Daisy Laughlin, Waterloo; Mary Collins, Des Moines; Margaret Bell, Washington and Clarice Pinkerton, Marshalltown; three brothers, Stewart, Springfield, Oregon; Richard, Clinton, Maryland; and Kenneth, Virginia, Minnesota.
