FUNERAL SERVICES ARE
HELD JULY 13 AT LOCAL
CATHOLIC CHURCH

Funeral services for Raymond Dean Kleckner, 59, of St. Ansgar, who died Friday, July 10 [1987] at the St. Ansgar Good Samaritan Center, were held Monday, July 13 at St. Ansgar Catholic Church with the Reverend Joseph Heinemann officiating.

Mr. Kleckner was born February 19, 1928 at New Haven, to Ernest and Florence (Fox) Kleckner. He attend and graduated from St. Ansgar High School in 1945. He entered the Navy on July 11, 1945 and was discharged August 3, 1946.

He was united in marriage to LaRayne Attlesey on July 1, 1947.

Mr. Kleckner farmed from 1947 to 1971. In 1967 he became a rural mail carrier until his retirement in 1986 because of ill health. He was an active member of Rural Mail Carriers, Knights of Columbus 4398, Walter T. Enneberg American Legion Post 358, Lions Club, and St. Ansgar Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife, LaRayne of St. Ansgar; a son, Larry of San Antonia, Texas, and a daughter, Mrs. Andy (Susan) Hartwig of Northwood; two sisters, Bernice Paulson of Osage and Mary Schwalbe of Oakland, California; four brothers, Robert and Maurice of St. Ansgar, James of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and William of Stevens Point, Wisconsin; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.
