Marshall D. Trout, 73, former Osage and Mitchell resident, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011 at the Denver Hospice in Denver, Colorado.

Funeral services were held on Friday, Sept. 16, 2011 at the Mississippi Ave. Baptist Church in Aurora, Colorado, with interment at the Fairmount Cemetery in Denver.

Marshall graduated from Mitchell High School in 1956, married Mary Jean Woolworth (former Osage resident) in 1959 and together the had three children - Carleen, Dale and Darrel. Marshall enjoyed playing and watching baseball with his sons, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.

Marshall is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Jean of Aurora, Colorado; daughter Carleen (Bruce) Sanden of Altoona, Wisconsin; sons, Dale Trout of Aurora, Colorado and Darrel (Andrea) Trout, also of Aurora Colorado; his grandchildren Lance (Danielle) Sanden, Heather (Jake) Feigum, Danny Trout, Sammy Trout and Vicky Trout, and one great-granddaughter, Rozalynn Sanden. He is also survived by two sisters, Fran (Gary) Hveem of Albuquerque, MN and Dorothy (Doug) Larson of Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his parents Hilan and Bessie (Seckar) Trout and a niece Stephanie Hveem.
