ANNA MARIE ANDERSON

Riceville – Mrs. Anna Marie Anderson, 82, died Wednesday night at the hospital here. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church here with burial in Calvary Cemetery. The rosary will be said Thursday at 8:30 p.m. at the Chisholm Funeral Home.

Born January 16, 1880 at North Washington, Chickasaw, Iowa, she was the daughter of Peter and Katherine Diederick.

Surviving are five sons; Peter, Fort Dodge; William, Waterloo; Carl, Riceville; John, Clearwater, Fla.; Edmund, Riceville; two daughters; Mrs. Ivan (Helen) Minnis, Aurora, Mo.; Mrs. John (Margaret) Swan, Riceville; three sisters; two brothers; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers and two sisters.

ANDERSON, Anna Marie 1880-1963

Anna Marie Anderson, daughter of Peter and Catherine Diederich of North Washington, Iowa, was born January 16, 1880 and died October 2, 1963 at Riceville Hospital where she had been a patient for 2 ½ years.

He was united in marriage to Andrew J. Anderson April 19, 1898, at North Washington, Iowa. To this union were born seven children: Peter, Fort Dodge, Iowa; William, Waterloo, Iowa; Carl, Riceville; John, Clearwater, Florida; Helen (Mrs. Ivan Minnis), Aurora, Missouri; Edmund and Margaret (Mrs. John Swan) both of Riceville.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1956; four brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are the children, 13 grandchildren, 16 great grand-children, 3 sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services were held at the Immaculate Conception Church in Riceville on Friday, October 4 with the Reverend Joseph W Bohr officiating. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery in Riceville.

The Chisholm Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Anna Marie Diederick married Andrew Anderson 1868-1956. They are buried in the Calvary Cemetery. Anna’s parents (Peter and Katherine) are buried in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, North Iowa, Chickasaw, Iowa.
