MRS. KANZZENBACH DIES AT GRAFTON; RITES THURSDAY
Grafton – Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Emmanuel Lutheran church here for Mrs. Martha Kanzenbach, 83.
Burial will be in St. Ansgar Cemetery with Champion Funeral Home in charge. She died Monday morning at her home here.
Born in 1879 in Rock Township, Martha Beyer was married in 1902 to William Kanzenbach. Her husband died in 1957.
Surviving are seven children; Melvin, Tucson, Arizona; Mrs. Clarence (Leona) Foley, Northwood; Herman, Grafton; Arthur, Mason City; Wilmer, Faribault, Minnesota; Mrs. Ira (Ruth) Smith; and Miss Irene Kanzenbach, both of Grafton; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two sisters; Mrs. Emma Bartz; and Mrs. Mary Steinberg, both of St. Ansgar.

Martha Beyer was born November 1879 in Rock Township, Mitchell, Iowa, the daughter of Julius Beyer and Ernestine Bruesewitz. She married William Kanzenbach, the son of Christian and Ernestine Kanzenbach.
