Elizabeth Emilie Freidericke Patri 1902-1906

Elizabeth Patri was born in 1902 on a farm located about five miles south of Riceville in Douglas Township, Mitchell county, Iowa. Her parents were August and Caroline Milhan Patri.

She passed away in 1906 and is buried in the Lutheran cemetery south of Riceville, in an unmarked grave on the Fred Arndt lot.

NOTE: The spelling is incorrect on this -- the surname Patri is correct.

Elizabeth Emilie Freidericke Patri was born January 2, 1902 in Mitchell Co., Iowa, the daughter of August William Patri and Caroline Louise (Milhan) Patri.

Her father died May 22, 1941 in Todd County, Minnesota and her mother remarried to Bruce Whitman. Her mother died January 3, 1973 in Douglas County, Minnesota.

Surviving Elizabeth were two brothers Edward Patri (1899-1974); and Benjamin Patri (1905-1997). Another brother Earl was born after she died on January 25, 1919 and died January 16, 2007.

Her maternal grandparents were August and Amelia (Arndt) Milhan. Amelia Arndt was the daughter of Friedrich "Fred" Arndt (mentioned in the first part of the original clipping).
