Donald J. Tompsett
Funeral services for Donald J. Tompsett, 41, of Riceville, were held at 10 a.m., Monday, March 5, 1984, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Riceville. Reverend G. F. Hemeseth officiated at the service with burial in the Bursham Hollow Cemetery, Arkwright, New York.
Lindstrom Funeral Home of Riceville was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Tompsett died Thursday, March 1, 1984, at a Rochester, Minnesota hospital.
Donald J. Tompsett was born March 1, 1943, in Detroit, the son of Elliot and Olivia Vetter Tompsett.
He was united in marriage to Barbara Christy in 1966 in New York. He was a livestock buyer for Hormel Company.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; a daughter, Joann, at home; his mother, Mrs. Olivia Tompsett of Detroit; a brother, David of Chicago and nieces and nephews.
