Funeral services for Harold Affeldt, 73, of Riceville, were held on Thursday, October 24, 1985 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Riceville. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery in Riceville.
Survivors include his wife, Mary of Riceville; three daughters: Mrs. Edith Affahl and Mrs. Jane Groth, both of Riceville, and Mrs. Margie Hunt of Millsap, Texas; two sons, Louis Affeldt of Destrehan, Louisiana, and Philip Affeldt of State Center; three brothers: Reuben of Fresno, California, Julius of Chico, California, and Walter of Riceville; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Florence Knapp Apel.
