BERT NICOL, FORMER LITTLE CEDAR MAN, TO BE BURIED THERE

Relatives in this community have received word of the death of Bert Nicol, a former Little Cedar resident, who passed away at his home at Palouse, Washington, Monday. He was 70 years of age.

Mr. Nicol was born and raised in the Little Cedar vicinity, and following his marriage to Rena Morris, farmed in that neighborhood, and later operated a general store in the new town of Little Cedar.

They moved west about 35 years ago, and farmed near Palouse until Mr. Nicol retired and moved into that town.

It is expected that his remains will reach Osage about Sunday, when services will be held and burial made in the Little Cedar Cemetery.

Mrs. Nicol will come to Osage, and probably their son, Roy, from Minneapolis. Mr. Nicol is survived also by a sister, Mrs. Fred Julius, in this county. Mrs. Nicol is a sister to Mrs. J.A. Holliday, and Vern and Howard Morris.
