OSAGE BAKER, 63, DIES AFTER HEART ATTACK AT HOME OF DAUGHTER

Osage – Lars T. Larson, 63, died Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ivan Erickson, Minneapolis, following a heart attack.

Lars T. Larson was born in Stevanger, Norway August 8, 1883. He came to America in 1902, going back within a short time for a visit, returning in 1904 to make his permanent home. He began his vocation of manager of a bakery at Story City, where he resided for 3 years during which time he was united in marriage with Gundina Tormondson , Story City.

The family lived at Washburn, Wisconsin for 18 years, at Foley, Minnesota for 5 years, at Marshall, Minnesota for 3 years, then retied for a year, coming here in 1936 when he purchased the Home Bakery.

He operated this until January 15th this year, when the building was sold, and he was forced to seek quarters elsewhere. He owned his stock and was still negotiating for a building.

Mr. Larson had been visiting his son, Theodore, a veteran at Excelsior Springs, Mo., prior to going to visit his daughter at Minneapolis.

Surviving are 2 sons; Theodore, Excelsior Springs, Mo; and Leonard, at Los Angeles; and 2 daughters; Mrs. Ivan Erickson of Minneapolis; and Mrs. Severyn Lewis of Osage.
