OSAGE MAN DIES IN MASON CITY
Charles Jacobs, 79, of Osage, president of the Mitchell County co-Operative Oil Company for 16 years, died in a Mason City hospital Monday night of uremic poisoning. He had been ill only a few days.
He is survived by his widow and a brother, Frank, of Osage.

HOLD JACOBS RITES
Osage – Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Champion Funeral Home for Charles Jacobs, 79, who died at a hospital in Mason City Monday from uremic poisoning. The Rev. Ross Hartmann was to officiate.
Surviving are the wife and a brother, Frank, both of Osage.

Charles Burton Jacobs was born August 1867 in Michigan (1900 US Census), the son of Joseph Jacobs and Mary Jane (Miller) Jacobs. He married Elsie Richardson, the daughter of Edgar Richardson and Julia (Maxham) Richardson.
