Funeral services were held on Monday, August 19, 1985, at Champion Fuenral Home in Osage for Edna May Fultz, 84, of Osage. Rev. J. Pittman officiated at the service, with burial in the Osage City Cemetery. She died on Friday, August 16, 1985, at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital.
Edna May Fultz was born on February 28, 1901 in Grundy County, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Celia Price Fultz. She moved with her family to Mitchell County in 1910 and attended schools in Mitchell and Grundy Counties. She also attended Capitol City Commercial College in Des Moines.
She was a bookkeepter in Des MOines for 13 years, moving to Osage in 1930, where she worked in the County Relief office. In 1971 she retired as deputy county auditor of Mitchell County, after 34 years of service.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Eastern Star Kensington.
Fultz was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Alice and Mabel.
Survivors include two sisters, Hazel Ercanbrack of Osage and Lillian Nelson of Belmond.
