Nicholas L. Smith

Nicholas L. Smith, 73, a retired farm laborer from Stacyville, died Monday, February 11 at a Rochester, Minnesota, hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John Catholic Church, Johnsburg. Burial will be at the church cemetery in Johnsburg. Rosaries will be said at 3 and 8 p.m. Wednesday at Visitation Church, Stacyville.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Martha Jax of St. Ansgar, and Margaret Smith of Stacyville, and six brothers, Leo, Gregory, Ray, Bernard, Gilbert and Gerwin all of Stacyville.

Hatten and Son Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements.
