OSAGE, IOWA -- Services are pending at Champion Funeral Home in Osage for Miss Hattie Spaanum, 85, who died Monday morning at Faith Home in Osage. She is survived by three nieces and two sisters-in-law.
She served as duputy Mitchell county Treasurer for 35 years.

OSAGE, IOWA -- Services for Miss Hattie Spaanum, 85, former Mitchell County Deputy Treasurer for 35 years, who died Monday at Faith Home in Osage, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Champion Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.
Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Laura Spaanum and Mrs. Sadie Spaanum, both of Osage; and three nieces.
