Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 17, 1985, at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville for Anna Frances Saraga, 90, of Riceville, who died on Sunday, January 13 at a Riceville nursing home. The Rev. J. Gilbert will officiate and burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Riceville.
Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home.
Born in Czechoslovakia on August 24, 1894, to Joseph and Antonia Varos Slaichert, she came to the United States with her parents in 1912, and attained her citizenship.
She was united in marriage to James Setka in 1915. He died later that year. She the married Mato Saraga in 1922 in Osage.
She was preceded in death by her parents and first and second husbands.
She is survived by four daughters: Ann Billy, Chicago, Illinois; Betty Klee, Green Bay, Wisconsin; Mary Jean Vulk, Mitchell; and Lily Ann Pollock of Imman, S. C.; three sons: Stanley Setka of Riceville; Mato Frank Saraga, Canoga Park, Calif.; and John Saraga, Costa Mesa, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
