ERICK H. MYLI
Northwood – Erick H. Myli, 93, died Friday following a stroke. Born March 13, 1870 at Saint Ansgar, he was the son of Halgrin and Ingeborg Myli.
He was married to Clara Knudson near Hanlontown in 1896. He was a chairman of the school board, president of the Farmers Elevator and a bank director at Hanlontown. They moved to Northwood 18 years ago when he retired.
Surviving are his wife, 10 daughters; Hilma, Alva and Thelma, all of Northwood; Ruth, Chicago; Mrs. Blanche Jensen, Elmhurst, Ill.; Mrs. Blair (Ida) Stewart, Santa Barbara, Calif.; Mrs. Carl (Edna) Bergdale, Kensett; Mrs. Alfred (Ethel) Bergdale, Kensett; Mrs. Clarence (Nina) Felland, Joice; Mrs. Alton (Gail) Nelson, Mason City; 16 grandchildren and 17 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church here. Burial will be in Sunset Rest Cemetery with Bakke Funeral Home in charge.
