Funeral services for Mrs. Charles (Viola) Terry were held Saturday, January 5, 1985 at Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home in St. Ansgar. Rev. Norman E. Betke of Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Ansgar, officiated at the service with burial which included interment of her husband's ashes, next to her parents in Newburg Township Cemetery at Carpenter.

Viola Kleinwort Terry was born on September 22, 1900 in Barton Township, Worth County, Iowa, the daughter of Adolph and Katherine Ogden Kleinwort. She attended schools in Worth County, Carpenter, Osage, the University of Iowa and Florida Atlantic University at Boca Raton.

She was united in marriage to Major Charles Hollen Terry on August 1, 1944 and they lived in Florida at Miami, Lantana and Boca Raton. Her husband passed away on October 7, 1968. Mrs. Terry had been an active member and organist at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Boca Raton, Florida. She became a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in April, 1980. She was a resident of the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar since 1979.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother, Harvey.

Survivors include cousins, E.J. Hollatz of St. Ansgar, Mrs. Osie Adrian of Baudette, Minnesota, Mrs. Bernice Ehlke of St. Ansgar and other relatives.
