FORMER OSAGE RESIDENT DIES AT ALBERT LEA
Osage – Funeral services for Mrs. Millard Easter, 52, a native of Osage, will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at the Methodist church in Albert Lea, Minn., with burial in Graceland Cemetery, Albert Lea.
She died on her birthday Thursday at a hospital in Albert Lea.
Mrs. Easter was born in Osage May 10, 1899, to John and Julia Martin. She was graduated from Osage High School in 1916 and from Wilberforce University, Zenia, Ohio in 1919 and was instructor for 6 years in Arkansas and Kansas prior to her marriage in 1925 to Millard Easter at Oswego, Kansas.
Survivors include her husband daughter Katherine senior student at Fisk University, Nashville, Tenn., son, Charles Edward, student at Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter, Minn., a brother, Irving Martin, of Osage; and 3 sisters, Pearl Martin, Ft. Madison; Mrs. Kate Neil of St. Paul; and Mrs. Ruth Cabell, Mason City.
