Funeral services for Mrs. William W. Lange were held Wednesday afternoon at 1:45 at the home and at 2:00 o'clock at the First Lutheran church. The Rev. Olaf A. Langehough was in charge of the services.
Julia T. Moe was born on a farm near Dodgeville, Wisconsin, December 18, 1862. In 1869 she came with her parents to St. Ansgar, Iowa, and has ever since resided here.
On November 4, 1877 she was confirmed by the Rev. J. Norby in the Evangelical Lutheran church at Six Mile Grove east of Lyle.
She taught for a number of years in the rural schools of Mitchell County and also in the St. Ansgar Public schools.
On November 27, 1902 she was married to William W. Lange. In 1940 she joined the First Lutheran church and attended services as long as her health permitted.
The deceased has been in failing health for the past two years or more continually growing weaker, until the early morning hours of Sunday, December 7, when she quietly passed away at her home here. She bore her lot with true Christian fortitude, cheerful and uncomplaining to the last.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, two sisters, Annie Moe and Mrs. Amelia Thorson, both of St. Ansgar and a number of nieces and nephews.
