HOLD SERVICES FOR MRS. CHARLES ALCHON AT OSAGE FUNERAL HOME
Osage – Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Shelledy funeral home in charge of the Rev. H. M. Grant of the Osage Methodist church for Mrs. Charles Alchon 91, who died Sunday at her home.
She was born July 17, 1851, in Fennimore, Wisconsin, and spent her girlhood there. She was married September 19, 1872 in Pocahontas. She had made her home in Osage the past 50 years.
Surviving are her son, Guy of Osage; a daughter, Mrs. Fern Ely of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and a sister, Mrs. Emma Kruel of Lorenz. Burial was in the Osage Cemetery.

Martha Ellen Munns was born July 17, 1851 in Wisconsin, the daughter of Robert Munns and Roxanna Rounds. She married Charles F Alchon, the son of Charles Alchon Sr. and Eliza (Perkins) Alchon. (parents info from 1925 census and a tree found on Ancestry)
