FORMER OSAGE RESIDENT DIES
CONDUCT LAST RITES FOR RICHARD MORROW IN METHODIST CHURCHOsage – Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2 O’clock at the Champion funeral home in charge of the Rev. H. M. Grant of the Osage Methodist church for Richard Morrow, 84, who died at the home of his daughters in Lake Forest, Illinois.
Born October 11, 1857, in Fairhaven, Ohio, he moved with his parents to a farm near Ainsworth, Iowa, in 1876.
He was married to Hannah Davis of Birmingham, Iowa, February 28, 1884
In 1907 they moved to Osage and lived there until 1937 when they moved to Chicago, Illinois, to live with their daughters, Corda and Ethel, who survive along with two sisters; Mrs. I. T. Solthurst; and Mrs. Robert Acheson of Ainsworth; and a brother, Fred, of Kingfisher, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Morrow died more than a year ago. Burial was in the Osage Cemetery.
