ROCKFORD, IOWA - Clifford L. Huntley, 89, of 701 E. 4th St., St. Ansgar, died Friday (September 6, 2002) at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Craig Steimel officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Holy Name Catholic Church, 507 1st Ave. N.W. in Rockford. A scripture service will be at 6:30 p.m., and a rosary service at 7:45 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
Those planning an expression of sympathy may direct memorials to the Clifford L. Huntley Memorial Fund.

Clifford was born April 7, 1913, in Valley City, N.D., the son of Reuben and Sylvia (Andrews) Huntley. Clifford was united in marriage to Alberta Engels on April 10, 1940, at Holy Name Catholic Church in Rockford.
Clifford worked as a farmer his entire life. He loved traveling to various fishing spots to go fishing. Clifford also enjoyed hunting, camping, and traveling. He loved spending time with family. He will be missed dearly by family and friends.
Clifford is survived by his daughter, Mary Louise Doane, and her husband, Richard, of Tempe, Ariz.; three sisters, Vilda Jones, of Des Moines, Darlene Baker, of Mason City, and Betty DeVries, of Sedalia, Colo.; daughter-in-law, Sandy Huntley-Loup, and her husband, Charles, of Mason City; two grandchildren, Brian, and Mark Huntley; one great-grandchild, Twyla Shellhart; a special friend, Mary Halverson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Alberta in 1984; a son, James Huntley in 1995; seven brothers; and three sisters.
