WILL PROVIDES FOUNTAINS FOR HOT CANINESOsage – Drinking fountains for dogs will be constructed “in accessible places” in Osage under the terms of a will left by Mrs. Grace Foreman Page, 74.
She left $1,000 for that purpose and named three men to see that the fountains are built and maintained properly.
In addition, Mrs. Page left two thirds of her estate to the Waterloo Humane Society for the shelter of animals and birds and to prevent cruelty in the trapping of animals. The remainder of her estate was left to the American Humane Society, Albany, N. Y. The total value of the estate was not estimated, but was believed large.
