FORMER OSAGE WOMAN DIES IN MINNESOTA
Osage – A former Osage resident, Mrs. Myrtle Gillis, 83, died suddenly Monday evening at a hospital at Dodge Center, Minnesota. Funeral rites will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Methodist Church, Dodge Center, with graveside rites at the Osage Cemetery, and burial here.
Survivors include two daughters; Mrs. Ralph Burnham, Osage; Mrs. Murray Snyder, Ontario, Canada; and a son Randall Gillis, Buffalo, N. Y. as well as three grandchildren.
Her only brother, Floyd Randall, Ellendale, N.D., died suddenly Saturday evening. Rites were at Ellendale Wednesday.
Mrs. Gillis and her husband operated a grocery store in Osage many years ago.
