FORMER OSAGE WOMAN DIES IN MINNESOTA

Osage – Mrs. Bert Pasco, 54, died of cancer Sunday at Grand Rapids, Minn. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Grand Rapids and at 2 p.m. Friday at the Champion Funeral Home here. The Rev. Obert Hoven will officiate. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

Born Katherine Cordes here in 1906, she was a graduate of Osage High School. She took nurses training in Minneapolis and was married in 1928.

Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Ellen Cordes, Osage; her husband and two sisters; Mrs. William Gilles, Mason City; and Mrs. Jack Conklin, Osage.

Katherine Louise Cordes was born March 13, 1906 in Osage, the daughter of Albert Cordes and Stella (Bauman) Cordes. Her mother died in 1910 and her father remarried to Ellen Sophia Thompson. Katherine married Bert Leroy Pasco July 16, 1928 in South Dakota. He was the son of Fred Pasco and Mary (Mitchell) Pasco. After Katherines death Bert married Audrey Folsom.
